Welcome to Community of Candles 🤍
Community of Candles was created with a simple hope: to bring light, joy, and dignity to children and families who may not have the means to celebrate life's moments on their own. Every child deserves to feel seen and celebrated.
This nonprofit began through one person's vision shared with friends and a deep belief that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. We saw a need in our community and chose to begin.
Though we are still in the early stages, we are already moving forward. Our first fundraiser, the Burr Baskets, reminded us how generous and supportive this community truly is. That encouragement confirmed we are on the right path.

What This Season Has Already Shown Us
Since sharing the beginning of Community of Candles, we have already had the privilege of quietly contributing to a few children's birthdays. These were moments filled with joy, dignity, and celebration. Seeing these first small steps come to life has reminded us why this vision began in the first place. Each smile, each act of kindness, and each person who has chosen to walk alongside us has affirmed that even simple gestures can carry lasting meaning.
We are also grateful to share that Community of Candles is now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This milestone allows us to move forward with greater structure, accountability, and care as we continue serving families in thoughtful and responsible ways.
